Is there a way to do this? If not, can this feature be included in an update? I'm most frustrated because iPad users using an iOS app have this feature. However, I want the ability to save my notes as a PDF exactly as they appear in OneNote. That's probably why the print to PDF feature turns it to a white page. Printing a completely black page is a waste of ink and makes no sense. It also seems like some colors aren't compatible with printing because there are many blank spaces. Hello, my software got an update today (I'm guessing it did because that's the only explanation) and I can't change the color of the page to white when I'm using the black theme on Word. Instead, the background is light, the lines or grids is the most noticeable feature of the PDF, and I can't read half of my written notes because I'm trying to read white or yellow writing on a white page. The only way to export and save these notes is to print as PDF but it doesn't save in dark mode. Open Word Options and tick 'Never change the document page color' to keep a white page even with dark mode enabled. Word dark mode with White pages Depending on your Word version, switching to dark mode could have switched also your document canvas color to black. Dark mode is easier on the eyes and less distracting when writing notes in a dark classroom. In the Options Word Settings dialog, just go ahead and select White. I use dark mode, lines or grids, and many fun colors to take and organize my notes. The dark page background does not convey how your document will print, or the default view your collaborators will see when they open it. Dark Mode can help to reduce eye strain and also provides a more modern feel to Word. I'm using the desktop app of OneNote on my Surface Pro. Dark Mode in Word offers a dark color scheme for both the menu controls and the document background.
